I have an ignorant question. Been thinking about this since yesterday. I know the NFC equipped R9T are region dependant, but just recently Google Wallet is now available in my region and also supporting NFC contactless payments with select banks. The R9T in my region are being sold without NFC. A global variant Redmi 9T for Malaysian market.
