This will be my first Garmin. I’m not too crazy about waiting for the 7 but since the 5s is cheaper I was just curious if it holds up as well to the 6s. Price is not too important to me but I was just looking for input on the 5s vs 6s.
I look at these things in terms of investments similar to features on a car, if music and maps might improve the quality of your experience down the line then it's absolutely worth the up front cost now. Compared to the Pro model, Fenix 6 lacks onboard memory for music and maps. So no, these features cannot be added via an update.
